Disney's "Once Upon a Studio" ✨

Disney recently released a short film titled "Once Upon a Studio" to celebrate its 100-year legacy in animation.

In perfect timing for Disney's centennial, the film brings together a whopping 543 cherished animated characters for a group photo outside the Walt Disney Animation Studios in Burbank, California.

This magical film was directed by Trent Correy and Dan Abraham and features a unique blend of live-action footage and animated characters, a technique that Disney first used in "Song of the South."

But it's not just about the visuals; the team also worked hard to reunite the original voices behind the characters. They managed to secure rights to Robin Williams' Genie from "Aladdin" and brought back several of the original voice actors, which is a lovely touch.

The film is a heartfelt tribute to Disney's rich history, with a special appearance by Burny Mattinson, a beloved Disney animator who contributed to many iconic films.

Record-Breaking Success: Taylor Swift's "Eras Tour" 💰

Taylor Swift's concert film, "The Eras Tour," hit the big screens with high expectations, but it didn't quite reach the $100 million debut it was hoping for.

Still, it's breaking records left and right. In North America, it became the highest-grossing concert film ever during its opening weekend, and it's now the second-highest-grossing October release ever, only behind "Joker."

This unique project was all set to hit the $100 million mark, with global presales already topping that figure a week before its release. But it fell just a tad short, likely because there wasn't a whole lot of last-minute ticket buying.

Audiences gave it an A+ CinemaScore and critics on Rotten Tomatoes rated it a perfect 100%.

One thing that can't be ignored is the massive female turnout, making up 82% of the ticket buyers. The majority of the audience was in the 18-34 age group, with quite a few teenagers joining the party.

Kevin Spacey's Oxford Lecture 🎭

Kevin Spacey recently made a comeback of sorts at the University of Oxford, giving a lecture on cancel culture.

It's said to be his first public appearance since being acquitted of sexual assault earlier this year.

During the lecture, he performed a scene from a Shakespeare play, "Timon of Athens."

Spacey's performance, which he delivered with the help of cue cards, got quite the reaction. He received a standing ovation that lasted over 40 seconds, and the audience was clearly impressed.

One person in the crowd even called it a "phenomenal performance."

But here's the interesting twist: just days before this, a London cinema had decided not to host the premiere of Spacey's new film, "Control," when they found out he had a voice role in it.

So, it seems like Spacey's career is still navigating some choppy waters despite this positive reception at Oxford.

Star-Studded Western "Unholy Trinity" 🤠

Alright, picture this: Pierce Brosnan, Samuel L. Jackson, and Brandon Lessard are out in Montana, shooting a Western film called "Unholy Trinity."

It's got that classic Western vibe set in the 1870s, filled with revenge, secrets, and treasure hunting.

The film is penned by Lee Zachariah and is being shot at Yellowstone Film Ranch. It's pretty exciting that they're making this Western during a challenging time for the film industry.

Pierce Brosnan is on a roll with recent films like "The King’s Daughter" and "Black Adam." Samuel L. Jackson has been keeping busy with movies like "The Kill Room" and "Argylle." As for Brandon Lessard, he's no stranger to working with the director, having collaborated on various projects.

All in all, it's a star-studded Western adventure that's in the works, and we can't wait to see how it turns out.
