Adam McKay Shifts Focus 🌱

Adam McKay, known for his concern about global warming, is eyeing a climate-focused project for his next directing gig.

This decision means he's stepping away from directing a Netflix film, "Average Height, Average Build."

The Netflix project, originally set to star Robert Pattinson, Amy Adams, and Robert Downey Jr., explored a story of a serial killer and a lobbyist teaming up.

McKay's focus on climate-related issues isn't new; his previous work, like “Don’t Look Up,” tackled these themes.

Beyond films, he's been actively involved in spreading awareness about climate change, launching the nonprofit Yellow Dot Studios for educational content.

“Chicken Run: Dawn of Nugget” BTS 🐓

Aardman's beloved chickens are making a comeback in the long-awaited sequel, “Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget,” arriving on Netflix after 23 years since the original's success.

Directed by Sam Fell, the six-year endeavor revisits Ginger, Rocky, and their feathery crew as they embark on a daring mission into Mrs. Tweedy's latest chicken factory.

Behind the scenes, the film's creation was no easy feat. The intricate Chicken Village set alone took two years to build, with a 30-second shot requiring 18 weeks to capture.

Technological advancements saved time and, importantly, fingers, with the shift from plasticine to silicon preventing puppet mishaps.

COVID-19 added its own challenges, leading to quarantined puppets and a six-month production delay.
