"Beetlejuice 2" just wrapped up filming in the beautiful landscapes of Vermont.

Tim Burton himself announced the completion, giving a huge shoutout to the incredible team behind the scenes. It's a reunion of sorts, with the original gang—Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, and Catherine O’Hara—returning to their beloved roles.

And let's talk about the exciting new additions: Jenna Ortega, Willem Dafoe, Monica Bellucci, and Justin Theroux joining the Beetlejuice universe.

Now, it wasn’t all smooth sailing. They faced a bit of turbulence with strikes—a writer's strike and then an actors' strike, causing a pause right when they were on the verge of wrapping it all up.

Amy Schumer's New Netflix Comedy 🤰

Amy Schumer's onboard to produce and star in "Kinda Pregnant," a Netflix comedy directed by Tyler Spindel.

The story follows Lainy (played by Schumer), who, feeling envious of her friend's pregnancy, ends up donning a fake baby bump and accidentally finds her dream guy.

The project's got a solid team, including Adam Sandler and a few others from Happy Madison, as well as Molly Sims in the producer's chair.

Amy's no stranger to comedy, having made waves with "Trainwreck" and "I Feel Pretty."

Seems like Schumer’s keeping busy, with a new Netflix comedy called "Unfrosted" in the works and her show "Life & Beth" on Hulu.

Disney, CAA Win “Ad Astra” Lawsuit 👨‍⚖️

Disney, 20th Century Studios, and CAA won a lawsuit brought by production exec Madison Jones.

Jones claimed they stole his screenplay idea for the film "Ad Astra," but the court ruled they couldn't have copied his work because they didn't have access to it.

The judge found the timelines didn’t match up—Jones completed his script after "Ad Astra" was written. Jones plans to appeal, alleging fraud by the writers.

The court found CAA didn’t receive Jones’ screenplay until 2015, after the "Ad Astra" writers submitted their drafts years earlier. Jones' failure to respond to legal statements also influenced the ruling.

Disney and CAA declined to comment. Despite this ruling, recent court trends have leaned toward reconsidering early dismissals in copyright cases.
